Name: Charlotte Prebensen Age: 23 Occupation: Assistant to the Director of Photography at the Flowers Gallery
How would you describe your style? I’m not sure that I have a definitive style, but I am definitely drawn to quite feminine things. I like wearing dresses, high-waisted skirts, blouses and trousers, but almost always with high heels – they make me feel grown up and I like stomping around in them.
What's most important to you about clothes? Clothes are great to have fun with. They can help you adapt to any situation, whether its power dressing for work, or fun dressing for playtime, they always help to establish a certain approach for the day ahead.
What's your favourite piece in your wardrobe? For my birthday this year I got a really beautiful vintage coat which I love. It is a bright red with a white geometrical print, and is pea shape with oriental buttons. I’ve never seen anything like it before, except perhaps on a Chinese emperor.
Is looking individual important to you? I think that looking individual is quite important to me. Not in a particularly kooky way, but just in a not looking like everyone else way. There’s nothing more deflating than walking past someone in the street wearing the same thing as you. I love high street shops, but that is definitely the worst thing about them, and definitely the best thing about One Off Style.

What attracted you to this One Off piece of clothing? (above) I love everything about this skirt - the colour, the print, the cut, the length; in fact I love it so much that I can’t wait to snap it up as soon as it goes on the website.
What's your favourite thing to do on a day off? Going to exhibitions is always a lovely way to spend a day. I collect postcards from each one I go to and put them on my wall so that I won’t forget the things I liked. Otherwise I like party time.
What's your favourite part of London? I don’t think I have a favourite part of London, but exploring it is one of the things I love to do – I like seeing the way that places join together. The South Bank is always great for a good wander.
What do you want to be when you're older? My friend Georgia and I have a plan to start a gallery together. We’re going to start by putting on exhibitions in the basement of my house, and then hopefully move into our own space. We are very much in the planning stages at the moment, but it is very exciting!
